Where are the Birds Now ????

Well i was just sitting here at work thinking that I hunted real hard all week last week from the Tenn Tom all the way to the Delta and have killed 3 ducks! [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] I am just wondering where in the ?&%#@ the ducks are now? I am not compalining to bad because I do enjoy just going buts its getting pretty darn [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] not seeing or killing any birds!Maybe there will get here before 1-30-02 [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] Somebody tell me some good new!!!

Well I wish I could but I went yesterday seen more ducks in the river bottom than I have all year then I go back in this morning and blank I mean nothing. While i was coming out jumped about 15 or so off the river. One of my buddies called me just and he said they are piled up on the old river. So I guess I will try it again in the morning. Well Tmber I am going to get after them ducks again for the next few moring and just keep on wishing and hopeing that one moring I will get that limit that seems so hard to even see in the air, it has been the worst season I have had in 4 or 5 years ,but it can only get better is the possitive thing !! Do you hunt alot around the Tenn-Tom??

Yes I hunt the Tenn Tom and a some over around Cleveland and the Minter City area and it not been good at either place !

I know what you are talking about I hunt alot over in the delta from Marks to Highway 32. Too much water. We tried to sneek hunt out of a boat but couldn't get close enough to the ducks to jump shoot them. I usually kill as many ducks over on the river from fulton to Aberdeen as i do in the delta but it is neck and neck right now. I am going to visit my in-laws next weekend at Jackson. So i am going to try Ross Barnett and see what is happening.

Sound good to me Timber hell you cant go wrong but I am the same way I usually can get my limit here with out going to the delta but I just enjoy going over the you tender to see more birds and i enjoy that part of it too!
Plus it sometimes gets a little old hunting out of a boat all the time !
