sims did sign with rebels.

sawyers committed to UT last night, and mckenzie committed to UGA last night as well. so goes cruitin

rebs signed D law. but it's more for placement reasons, he will likely not qualify. amazed that we flipped T shep. he needs 30 hours to qualify for fall, he's taking 21 now, and 9 this summer. if he pulls it off, more power to him.

solid class for the rebels, didn't shake the ground as much as last year, but signed some quality depth at several positions of need. we should be able to redshirt quite a few of these boys. now lets get them all enrolled.

more on D law, Utah is also claiming he signed a LOI with them as well. hello floyd raven all over again. this should be interesting

If you look at Ole Miss and State there is a big gap as far as where they are ranked but really have the same caliber of players but Ole Miss just has more commits which when you go by total points makes a big difference. Another thing to take into account is that the majority of interior OL are ranked as 3 stars. I think OL is the hardest position to project how they will transition from high school to college. Also Vanderbilt has been taking it on the chin since Franklin left.

not sure which rankings list you look at, but i know this is not the case with rivals. only the top 20 kids committed are used to compile a ranking. for that school. so kids 21-26 or ever how many sign with said school will not count in point total in determining a ranking

If you look at 247 sports you will see Texas has more 4 stars than Ole Miss but ole miss is one spot above them because they have a couple of more players overall.

rebs should could the kid loose and let him "sign with utah" he's a major grade risk as it is. one that barring a miracle, the rebs were going to have to place in juco

Heard a guy from 247 sports on the local radio last night talking about the classes from Ole Miss and State. Said both teams did a good job of recruiting guys that fit needs and provided depth instead of just going after big name players. I know alot of people thought that was the way Nutt recruited. He also talked about how Mullen and his staff seem to be great at find diamonds in the rough and guys that everyone else over looks. He was really high on the QB state has coming in along with the WR Jesse Jackson and several of the DL they got. The part I really found interesting was he talked about Mullen really laid the groundwork for the next two years. Apparently Mississippi is expected to have a lot of good recruits the next two years and he thinks State is going to really capitalize off of that with the way they recruit in state.

One thing State needed to recruit badly they didn't do. We need a place kicker like the desert needs rain.
