Auburn v. Florida State (BCSCG) Prediction Thread
FSU is the prohibitive favorite (7.5 to 9 pt). Auburn is riding a major wave and seems to have improved game by game for the entirety of the season. FSU has only played 1 top 30 team according to Sagarin. Auburn has played 5 (4-1).
I think the SEC (and state of Alabama) streak continues...
Auburn 39-30.

DM77 – are you experimenting with some kind of reverse psychology thingamajang here? If not, please pick revisit & FSU. Your predictions this year top those of our long lost D.I.B. several years ago. Always quick to predict, but seldom accurate.

Not real sure what to think about this game. Noles past the eyes test and no doubt are very talented bu they have not been tested so not sure how good they really are. Also how will they respond when they find themselves in a 4 quarter dog fight. Auburn obviously has played many big games and should have plenty of confidence in a close game. Just can't make a decision. If Auburns defense was a little better I would pick them no doubt.

Your prdictions are a notch better than DM77.........but that's like saying Southern MS is a notch better than Georgia State.
Yall's predictions are fun to read though

Re: Auburn v. Florida State (BCSCG) Prediction Thread
After watching AU get the gift against UGA, watching my Bama team melt down and lose that game, and then watching AU's offense systematically dismantle Missouri, I'm not picking against them. FSU will test them and if the wide receivers play well and Jamison (sp?) has a good game, FSU has a real chance to win. If FSU can figure out how to stop the 3 plays that Auburn runs and force Nick Marshall to consistently and accurately throw the ball, FSU wins.
But, this is not the same AU team that looked spotty against Wash. St. or had to throw a TD with 10 seconds left to beat Miss. St. It kills me to admit it but AU is legit and if they can ride the momentum they've had the past 3 games, I don't see them losing. AU's defense is not great, especially the secondary. The national media will be wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth but I think Auburn's offense will carry the torch and outscore FSU. The SEC wins 8 straight NC and the trophy stays within the state of Alabama for the 5th straight year.
AU 37
FSU 33

I agree with Dr. B. They have gotten progressively better over the course of the year. This isn't the same team that played MS State. Given the 1 second "fluke" against Alabama, I still say they would have won had they went into OT play.
