That show is as real as the Steven Segall law enforcement show.

bwhahaha I'd forgotten bout that gem.

I've pretty much decided the only two real "Reality" shows on TV these days are Cops and Deadliest Catch.

Its FAKE. Otherwise, simple subpeona from the DA to the camera crew/producer, Shiners/Amish Mafia/GH22 male escort service et al, are IN JAIL. Period.

I assumed the show was fake and the participants had just switched from shining to riding the TV gravy train, but I've heard some around here mention that the gravy train isn't as lucrative as some would think. Most of these folks don't have much, so I guess it's a none issue. I do relish the fact that Barney Barnwell aka Popcorn Sutton's band played at the frat house back in the day. Those were some wild dudes.

Barney Barnwell rocked. Got to hang out with he and his band on their tour bus in Oxford one night before they played at the fraternity house. He told some wild stories. Great guy and very intelligent. He reminded me a lot of Phil Robertson minus the Jesus part. It was cool to see the the 2 young guys on the show talk about him.
