Wish him the best. He was very good at times for LSU and has played well under the circumstances (under Miles the idiot).
LSU will start a true freshman in the bowl game (likely either Outback or Cotton) in Anthony Jennings. I suppose the future is now. In a weird way, and at the expense of Mett, these practices with Jennings getting all the starter reps should really help him headed into next year as the starter.

I really hoped Mettenberger would have panned out, seemed like a pretty good player. LSU has had more than its share of QB troubles the past few years, and he was able to add some stability to that position, even if for only a year.

Is there any word on if this injury happened earlier in the year. I know at the end of the Bama game he could barely pull himself off the ground and it look like a knee injury also noticed him favoring it in another game afte that. I believe that was his left leg is that the one that is torn?
