Ole Miss should win this game. I don't see them covering this spread, too many points. I look for Ark to play their best game of the year this Saturday. Historically, that's just the way it happens w/ Ole Miss. Arkansas will run the ball effectively and eat up the clock. Arkansas 27 Ole Miss 38

I'm not sure that Mullen has under achieved enough to get axed just yet. However, I predict that when he loses the egg bowl, they send him packing.

He isn't going anywhere, unless he voluntarily leaves to take a coordinator job somewhere. State went to a bowl game last year, and one year removed from postseason play won't be enough to kick him out. However I hope he cans his OC, to show that he is not happy with what his team is doing this year. As state has shown in the past with Croom and Sherrill, they are more than willing to let a man take a program into oblivion before replacing them.

I do think that with states youth at many positions, they are poised to make it back to postseason play next year. They should be a better team. No championships or anything, but should be improved over this year.
