overall we had a good time. didnt win my contest so that sucks but its part of it. ninth one this year i aint won
made one pass through the place but was too focused on calling to strike any conversations. only people i talked to were callers and such. i was the one wandering around with the pretty blonde :D
on another note, greenwood was a disaster friday night. im from out of town, and we stay in greenwood alot to hunt. but them homies was out in full force. couldnt hardly get a room at some places. they was partying all over. twice during the night i reached for my pistol. some dipstick snatched on the door. i enjoy the delta, but them folks can ruin about anything. at the festival one poor dude selling calls was hung up for a long time with some drew "youths" who blew his calls non stop. i applaud his patience.

The calling was good and the food was unbelievable. The "barbelly wraps"......................wow. Jerry, you got that figured out!!!!

I got to witness a history lesson by Mr Dick Reed while viewing Joels cool vintage call collection. That was one of the highlights of the day for me.

Enjoyed it guys and will see you again at the next one.
Ditto everything Bill said. Those wraps were ON TIME!
That was the first time I've really gotten to talk with Mr Reed. Very cool gentleman. Blu Hed, good to see you to sir.

Where did you stay? Sounds like the Golden Roach or one of the hotels south of the river.

It was good seeing you guys and finally putting some faces with names. Wish I could have made it down to the cookoff, it seemed like it was rockin down there. My mouth is still watering about those barbelly rolls, hate I missed those...

Ain't gettin pics from me! And we ended up staying beside Taco Bell. After stopping at several other dumps first. I enjoy a holiday inn as much as the next guy, but saving money is better.

The reason you heard the shwoogs is because Valley is housing a bunch of their "student's" off campus until Dorms are renovated at that hotel. Next time, don't skimp out and stay at the Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, or Holiday Inn, it will make your trip much more enjoyable.
