they respond pretty quickly to email or call 662-745-8975 and they should be able to give you the (approximate) starting time for your division

Just get there real early and hang out until it's time.
I whipped up a new specklebelly recipe night before last that turned out real good. I'll have the stuff with me to fix it up along with a lot of other stuff. I know Donia has a lot of food to cook up too. There should be a lot of food so everyone stop by. Our spot will be the one with an Orange sign that has black writing, "Triple D Gumbo". I will have on an orange Triple D Gumbo shirt and I think Donia will be wearing his too. I hope it's a little warmer and not as windy as last year. :?

If you get there early and need to warm up for the calling........please go somewhere other than the alley across the street from the gumbo cook off. I heard so many high balls I thought I was back in Albania hunting on lake Guntersville. It wouldn't have been as bad if the main one doing it wasn't "cracking" so much. It was horrible.

not that i'm aware of...i've got paper towels, bowls, spoons, foil, pans, toothpicks, bbq sauce & hoover juice, cheese, sausage, chops, chixn drummies and may get asparagus to go along with the grilled sweet peppers just to give the illusion of a healthy spread! i'll try to remember to fix a cooler with assorted adult bevs (cooking teams and vendors are the only ones that can bring coolers in wiht anything in them...they sell adult bevs & soft dranks there).

Counting down to 3:30 so I can clock out and head that way. I was up late packing everything last night and I think I have everything covered........cooking supplies, duck, deer, specklebelly, Moon Pies for Wingman, trail mix for snacking, bottled water, Sam Adams Octoberfest, home made scupernong wine, pint of Blackberry moonshine, pint of apple pie moonshine, Ducksouth coozies........
Did I miss anything?

It was great seeing everyone old and new.
The calling was good and the food was unbelievable. The "barbelly wraps"......................wow. Jerry, you got that figured out!!!!

I got to witness a history lesson by Mr Dick Reed while viewing Joels cool vintage call collection. That was one of the highlights of the day for me.

Enjoyed it guys and will see you again at the next one.
