Ask DS brain trust about beavertail final attack boat/blind

Has anyone used this boat/blind for large flooded rice fields and as a small boat for sloughs/ponds?

I had one but sold it several years ago.

Cons
It is a bit heavy and the integrated wheels don't provide any benefit in mud. It is too wide to paddle or run well with a trolling motor.

Pros
Very low profile and you can hide it in lawn grass and you can hunt any water depth.

If I knew I could drop it in the water and wade to the spot, it would be a good choice.

I can not tell from photo's but does it have some way to anchor (such as spud holes) which would provide a more stable shooting platform?

I never had any problems with stability. It is wide and low. I don't think I would try to stand and shoot, but it is plenty stable when used as a layout boat. If you have a need to get out and wade in deeper water, enter/exit using that sloped bow.
