Delta wings festival 2013 gumbo comp saturday (26th)

figured i'd start a new thread for this year's...other was getting confusing to some.

we'll have a kettle grill going...so i'll have some chops, chixn drummies, and some sausage going. if you want to bring something to thrown on, bring it on.

not sure how much gumbo there'll be this year after turn in, so first come first served. i'm sous chef this year and driveby (hhic - head honkey in charge) has been working on a smaller, punchier batch for this year's entry.

if you're at the festival, come by and see us.

I need to free up space in the freezer. Will marinate some hoover ducks and deliver saturday morning. Can't wait.

I still have my bright orange "Triple D Gumbo" shirt from last year so I will probably wear that. I will have some different things for the grill and other refreshments as well so everyone stop on by.

I've been told after being out of town the last 2 weekends, "Your staying at home with me this weekend".
So I was going to try to grab the little man and come that way early to look around and say hello then get back around lunch.

load in is at 7am, start cooking at 10am (turn in at 2pm for gumbo, lil earlier for anything wild).

I will have the Headcrusher Game Calls booth this year. I will have duck,deer, turkey, and some squirrel calls and I will have some outdoor prints a good friend has drawn. Stop by and say hello if you get a chance!
