What would you pay for a membership?

Postby Copen » Tue Jan 04, 2005 8:39 pm

How much would you be willing to pay for a membereship in a hunting camp with 500+ acres of flooded timber, soybean/rice fields and a slew with a blind on it. Hold ducks year in year out. Mainly mallards and woodies with the a few grey ducks. Nice lodge and a year round caretaker. Each member comes with its own room in the lodge.

How much would you guys be willing to buy a share for?

I'm interested in it if you are offering. What its worth would depend on the total acres, location and history. How many members is important too. I would like to hear more about it.

Just asking. Know a place that consistently holds ducks and if the opportunity presented itself would be willing to purchase it and start a camp. I would like for it to be an upscale exclusive duck camp. Just wanted to know what other hunters would be willing to pay for a share and then yearly dues. You would be able to sell the share when you were ready to get out for whatever you wanted or could get.

How much?.......ten cents an acre higher than the other guy.

Naw....500 acres is way too small to guarantee enough 'shooting' for the number of folks it would take to 'foot' the cost for all those ammenities.

My advice.....if you can buy it outright.......buy it and don't tell a soul about it.

To most of us it is. Maybe not the actual hunt but the time spent at camp or on the ride to and from with good company!

FOR 500 acres....dang I thought 25 grand plus 1500 per year maintence fee was expensive..although for 25 grand you do purchase 16 acres of the property....which I thought was alittle to much..but 50K and 5 per year whats on that property OVC girls or wat

I just stumbled on a hell-uv-a hole a few miles from my house and all it cost me was a pound cake from Wal-Mart and a couple of backstraps. :D
