Ole grunting Ed has been named interim head coach at USC....Lane Kiffen got the boot from USC, only 6 hours after getting blown out 62-41 by Ariz. State.

The USC athletic director met the team's jet, and fired Kiffen on the airport tarmac....couldn't have happened to a nicer jerk....Kiffen has been riding on daddy's coattails, and it's finally caught up with him....he's a high school coach, at best.

At first I was upset that Kiffen was fired. It's just amusing watching and reading how big of a sour "BEARDED CLAM" he is.

But now that Orgerron is head coach, it may very well be even more entertaining.

Coach O has USC playing very well.

While he still may not get the head coach job at USC, I think he will be a head coach again. He has clearly made changes in his coaching style for the better. With his ability to recruit, someone is going to give him another chance.

I don't see how he won't be named head coach after this turn around season.

If he doesn't get the head coach position, he will get an administrative position dealing with recruiting for sure. If he keeps his O coordinator going
and can get some form of a running game going he could be head coach next season. They played with a purpose against Stanford. Weren't going to
take no for an answer.

I'm thinking Pat Haden is feeling a lot like the way John Elway felt after Tebow won the playoff game against Pittsburg a couple years ago.

No way he gets the job if Del Rio wants it, now with that being said if he does not get it and I was the new coach I would give him a hefty raise and beg him to stay.

O will depart within 3 years if he is handed the reigns and USC will likely suffer from the highest number of sanctions ever handed-down by the NCAA.

USC just screwed over Coach O. He resigned and declined offer/raise to stay on as asst head coach. Do not blame him not one bit.

I don't know if he is head coach material for the long haul. He has however done a good job with the hand he was dealt this season
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.
