Torch, No Angel

Postby Hot Rod 1 » Mon Dec 31, 2001 2:35 pm

Hi Torch and No Angel!

Do you remember me? I hunted with you guys, and Razor and Fat "illegitimate child" this past January. I came with Sam, Danny, and Skip from Missouri. That was a great time!

How's the hunting been? From many posts on here it sounds like it has been poor. Hopefully this cooler weather will create a big push. There are still big numbers of birds in Northern Missouri. Hunting hasn't been as good as last year. The weather has hurt everyone. We've still had some good hunts this year.

Well, let me know how the hunting's been!

Good luck,

Hot Rod

Hey Hot Rod, We have had some ducks but nothing like last year. I hope Danny and the guys are coming back after the 1st of the year. Razor, Fat "illegitimate child", and No Angel are going with me in the morning. My nephew called this afternoon and said he had a rice field full. Hasn't had a duck in it all year and they showed up this afternoon. I hope this is the start of the MASS MIGRATION we have been waiting for. Tell everyone hello and hope to see you soon.

Oh the birds we saw last January! That conversation comes up often, what a time.

Everything is locked up here. Hopefully you guys are seeing more birds move in. Skip and I drove around last Sunday afternoon hoping to find some snows, but none were around exect at a local refuge. They've definetly moved south.

I think Danny is going to give you a call here shortly. Not for sure if we'll come down or not, I guess it depends on how the hunting is doing. If this weather holds, it ought to really pick up.
