Saw a flock flying the river this morning. Pelicans have shown up in full force

Looking bleak at WB. That's very unusual for us, especially when it has been this dry and we have plenty of fresh pumped water.

not looking good for me this year for the opener. i won't be hunting unless i see something very different the next 2 days.

Ive got a couple thousand sitting around my blind. My buddy is moving some skid blinds as we speak for our Sunday shoot.

Now that teal season is here in Mississippi and louisiana are people seeing any good numbers of teal? This weekend we only killed 15 out of my 3 man group.

15 for a 3 man group is respectable, especially for this weekend. We only killed 5 Saturday then turned in 24 on Sunday. The birds just weren't here in great numbers.

Nope all the birds I had left on friday. Hopefully this weather and the moon will move some for the weekend.
