Went on a Jeep Jamboree ride in Hot Springs years ago when my dad was into it. Amazing where they take those things and what all some people do to them. It was a cool experience. Take extra parts if you got some!! I saw drive shafts broke, hubs, axles, arms, legs.....ha just kidding about those two  !!

Also check out cmsja.org. Most of them are around the Jackson area I think. They are always posting about trail rides up there. May check them out and get in on a ride so you have some help

My son and I road shotgun up there with a friend of mine and it was fun. Only damage he sustained was the bite marks my butt took outta his seat on some of the climbs we made! We never went down the same trail if that gives you an idea on how many are up there.

If your running open diffs its going to be a challenge. Bring some sort of air, cause youll need to drop the lbs in your tires where as some other ORV partks it isnt AS necessary. If you have a set of trail tires take them once again youll have alot of rock rash on your tires. Never been but thats what I have heard from my crew that went. Other than that heard its a great park.

Walton aka Deltacotton took his jeep few years back maybe he can shed some light.

i've been and it is an awesome park. im planning on going again next month but will be riding shotgun as i don't want to drive mine from colorado and back. definitely get a map and keep it in the jeep and keep track of where you are at. there are alot of trails there and its easy to get turned around.
shoot them in the face they may be wearing body armor lol

Wonder would they be on a Garmin Gps? Kind of doubt it but you never know. Mine has turn rows on it sometimes. And most gravel roads. I don't have anything but my bf g 33's mud tires. And I don't have locking hubs. Looks like that would set me back about 1200 just for the front manual locking hubs. Lord knows what air lockers would cost. But I really don't want to get into all that. Don't want a rock crawler just have some fun with my family and friends. I see it says no beer. Wonder if that's strict or just something they have to say?

Anyone ever rented a U-Haul car hauler? I'd rather tow mine then drive it that far. Wonder if that would cost much. I have access to a old car hauler trailer but I'm pretty sure it would need tires and lights for a trip like that. Then it would have bearings going out lol. Thought I'd just rent a trailer

you can have beer in the park just not on the trail. it also says no night riding but there are always people out at night. your jeep will do fine. you don't need lockers and all to have fun as there are all levels of trails there. and as far as i know the only maps of the place is the paper one you get at the office

locking hubs are completely different than Locked differentials. Those just engage your 4wheel drive. Lockers in the differentials make both tires actually spin instead of just the tire that has the least grip or pressure they call those the "free wheel"

The park wil have maps or road signs rating the trails. Familiarize yourself with these rating or you could get in a pickle, it happened to me in N.C. and almost cost me my life falling off a switchback halfway up a true mountain.

If you are going solo try and find a rig like yours and tag along. Nothing to be seriously scared of if you are aware of the trails your going on. But just like a begginer snow skier you dont want to take the lift to the top of a double black diamond because then you have to get down. Stay on the novice trails and it should be a great family outting.
