Great game but, we got lucky... Vandy dropped 3 easy pics and about ten passes. We need a serious ground game to help keep pressure off Bo. O line was very porous but may get better as they play together more. Vandy only had one real good corner which left Treadwell open a lot - not taking away from Treadwell's obvious ability and maturity, he's grown. Kicking game is going to haunt us I think but maybe it's just jitters.

On the plus side, Scott is still fast and tough, defense still hitting like Mike Tyson, Robert N is a freak of nature and Tony Connor also played way above his pay grade. If we can give Bo some time and tempo, we have the best receiving corps I've seen in a while.

Rebs appeared to be better conditioned, although they were all sucking wind in the 4th. We did get one helpful PI call that I thought was iffy, but I also think Vandy got away with a blatant one so call that a draw.

Good to have an SEC win to get started with.

If Ole Miss doesn't figure out something else for offense at times they aren't gonna win against many good defenses. Maybe they just didn't feel they needed to expand more last night, but the offense is a video game offense and it does the same thing over and over and plays for a big break. They can't line up and get 3-5 tough yards, they also can't bank on anything down the field with any consistency and line play was very iffy last night...if they don't get at least 4 yards on first down they get seriously behind the 8 ball. It's fun to watch and when they are on it's hard to stop, but there is a lot of time in a game and games last night are gonna be too often with this offense...they can't take over a game...Ole Miss should've been able to run a ball control type offense in the 2nd quarter and run some clock and push to the half, but their offense gets a bit off kilter and allow for total momentum switch in snap of a finger...I just don't like it...
