LSU vs TCU
This may be the game we should be talking about. TCU and the media think they are real contenders. Even with LSU losing many to draft, hard to dispute the talent/depth they continue to keep is Top 5 in country. I know Clemson/UGA will get a lot of the press, but this LSU/TCU game is as big.
Are we gonna get wet?
Re: LSU vs TCU
Gary Patterson coaches this game to respectability but LSU never is in question...by simple talent comparison, LSU should win by 20+...but Patterson versus Miles makes for a 10-13 pt LSU win.
Re: LSU vs TCU
Cam Cameron running the offense, I feel like for the first time in several years we actually put up a few points. It's hard to tell with it being the 1st game of the season. Alot of new faces especially on the defensive side, and the O-line took a few hits during fall camp. Alot of young guys on the field.

Re: LSU vs TCU
I quite honestly have no clue. LSU could dominate them like they did Washington last year in the opener or they could get beat. LSU has athletes all over the field. LSU is coached by Les Miles...but they have two really good coordinators on both sides. LSU is young and thin at some key positions.
If I were to bet money, it would be on a close LSU win, but it would not surprise me in the least if LSU were to lose in similar fashion to the Clemson game last year.
There seems to be a dark cloud over the LSU program right now...really since the Honeybadger was kicked off the team. Who knows?

I'm just going to see the LSU Tiger band............
Re: LSU vs TCU
LSU gets doubted every year the first game and then blow them out. I remember back in 2011 they started at -3 vs Oregon. I thought that was insane THEN it went to 2.5! They ended up winning by something like 2 touchdowns.
A man who won't has no advantage over the man who can't.
Re: LSU vs TCU
LSU tried to give it away last night. Mettenberger looked great, a few deep balls were dropped but he still had a good night throwing the football. Nice to see smart decisions from an Lsu QB. O-line is young but showed flashes of being really good. Both RBs were just shy of 100, 2 WR over 100 yards. LB play was terrible, #31 Welter was lost in the sauce. But hey it's the 1st game so a win is a win

Re: LSU vs TCU
I have said it before and will say it again, LSU would be scary good with a better head coach. Still seeing a lot of the stupid mistakes that undisciplined teams make. If Cameron can clean that up LSU is no doubt a title contender. Mettenberger looked like the QB he showed he could be in the Bama game last year.
