Jeff Struecker (driver of the humvee in Blackhawk Down) posted on FB today to make sure you watched. Said they were going to go into the background of Phil and Kay realtionship.

Last night was one of the best, funniest, family-oriented, morally-uplifting DD shows that they've ever aired.

Congrats to Phil and Kay for nearly 50 years of marriage!!!

Heck, I'd vote for Phil for president of the US....and, Miss Kay would make a hechuva first lady....I guarantee there would be some major changes for the betterment of our nation.

Si could serve as VP, and the Nuge could be Sec. of Defense. :P :P :P

Good show last night.. Better than most of that other stuff on TV.. DD is the one show I will sit down and watch.. I just got finished reading Phil's book.. I got it for Father's day, I am not much of a reader, but I finished it in a few days.. My wife may wished she hadn't bought it for me, cause it makes we want to move out into the sticks.. :D :D :D :D Oh and by the way, the house is up for sale.. :D :D

I liked Mr Phil's quote about the only thing that made him nervous.

I bought it just to learn a little more about him and his story. I actually had it done in 2 days, wishing there was more and it would keep going.
It as well wanted to me sell it all an move out in the country and not look back!

Haha. There certainly would be a lot fewer "yuppy" policies signed under him.

I heard the premier broke 11 million viewers. That's off the charts for a cable TV show. That's certainly rarefied air. Good for them. There aren't too many reality TV show stars I'd be happy for them to become successful. I'm not a huge fan of the Robertson's as far as their idea's for waterfowl conservation, but they certainly seem to be good people. I can't imagine Phil liking all the extra attention he gets because of this show. I know he doesn't mind talking duck hunting with folks, but not being able to go to a grocery store without someone bugging him for a picture who only knows him because of the TV show would probably get old very quickly.
