looks like a $200 gut bucket.

I bought my gut bucket at the local farm store for $6.00

and it doubles as a pine cone dump bucket the rest of the year.

Bought? Hell my gut bucket is an old round up drum I got from a farmer for free.

So if I take my empty mineral tubs from the pasture and put some spray foam insulation on the outside and a drain hole, think I can sell for $100? They look damn near the same.

I am not saying anything is wrong with YETI or Costa at all. I have Costas and love them, I won a YETI and it seems to function just like all other ice chest. My point is, there are other coolers and sunglasses on the market that are just as good or better for the same price, but because of great marketing we are having a conversation about YETI and Costa and not all the others. Costa and YETI have figured out how to get people to buy other products that advertise for them as well. They are getting paid for people to walk around in their t shirts and hats and getting paid for people to drive around with their stickers on their trucks. Marketing Genius.

that's what my gut buckets are. I got two at my shop, two at dads, and a couple at the deer camp.

I personally will not buy one of them, but I do laugh at how many of you judge people on how they spend their money. Its their money and if that's what they want, big deal.

Unfortunatley that's probably not the case.....in most instances, I bet it's Daddy's money

if you build it they will come.

I guess they are popular so those with $'s to give away will buy one. I think one of the Beatles once said, at the peak of their popularity, that they could record a fart and it would be a gold record. Go figure.

I'm pretty sure that's what Justin Beiber has been doing for a while now.
