Professional Camo paint job
Professional Camo paint job
What's the best place near Central MS to get an 1546 Xpress boat and motor professionally painted? Also, is there a non-slip coating, like the kind that comes on Xpress duck boats, that can be purchased as well? Thanks for any info!

Dont know if he has moved his operation down here, but the Sportmans Specialty does a great job. Sooner or later I'm going to get mine to him. If you have a facebook acct, look him up.

He did mine very reasonable and it looks great. I'd highly recommend him.

Sportsmans did my boat. All the paint has come off. I would recommend taking yours to a full time professional.

Did you call and talk with him about that and if so what did he say? I couldn't help but think he'd make it right and would be very surprised if he didn't.TODO wrote:Sportsmans did my boat. All the paint has come off. I would recommend taking yours to a full time professional.

I talked to him Not too long ago. He has moved back to Jackson area from Starkville and don't believe is currently painting the boats. He told me he is going to get back into it, but not until he has the proper place to do it. I talked him for a hour. SUPER nice guy.
As for places around, it seems Metro Camo gets really great feedback. I was going to use one of the two guys mentioned, but ended up taking my boat back to the factory to have some work done and have a new coat of paint while I was there(War Eagle).

Seymore, he said he would repaint when he gets back going. He has been out of business since the early spring. Hes a nice guy, but its not worth the hassle for me. Take it for what its worth.
Re: Professional Camo paint job
looking as well, contacted sportsman and he's out.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
Re: Professional Camo paint job
I know this post is a little old. But i am the owner of Sportsman's Specialty Paints and I have been back up and going for about 7 or 8 months now. If someone has had an issue with their boats I have said from the beginning that I will honor a warranty on it. On the several boats ive done ive had two folks have issues and fixed them both. Since I have gotten back into it however we have been introduced to a new primer that is the best!! Feel free to holler at me if you have any questions, i am now located in flowood, ms.
Thanks,
Matt
