Is this an inside joke I don't get?

Naaa...... Just trying to find a mud motor I figured with all the ppl that’s going to be reading this joke I might find someone with one they would be willing to trade or sale.

Hell this ole boy here might as well stay home and shoot birds out of your wife’s bird feeder in my opinion. At least then things will be more exiting when she finds out.

I can't remember if it was Pennsylvania or Maryland, but at one time, they used their federal duck stamp allocation to buy mallard hatchlings and released them in ditches beside roads and I guess wherever else.

I remember reading that Virginia hunters loved the program.

how much do 3,000 ducks cost?

We got a few on our pond that have never left I figured one day they might follow a group of wild ones off but they are still there today and been there for 2yrs.

-------------Birds 1-14 15-29 30-44 45-99 100-299 300-999 1,000+
Price/ PerBird $4.59 $4.39 $4.19 $4.04 $3.39 $2.79 $2.34

So your anwser about $7020.00 unless he got a deal.

a guy on here named 10 mile is a local "mcguyver" type.. he can make or fix anything... just the other day he completed his cloning machine.. this thing is pretty big in size and is fuled by left-over blounts and three day old nacho cheese sauce.. and some old dried up duck feces///

next time just contact him and you he will clone your next batch of ducks for a nominal fee...

So i guess this is the kind of chit that they use to discuss on that other forum that closed down. What is the deal with folks like this, i know this is probably a joke but i mean wouldn't this take away from the art of hunting. "Hey ya'll i got an idea lets go to the zoo and Hunt a Giraffe"

The number 1 reason why releasing ducks as opposed conserving and restoring habitat to allow them to reproduce on their own is the spread of disease. Releasing huge amounts of ducks into the wild is a huge risk to messing with the genetics and is a health risk to wild ducks.

I'll bet a dollar to donuts a group of Albanians is gonna have the hunt of a lifetime this year. They'll be bragging about their lease over in the Delta for years to come.

This must be the guy that got popped for poisoning the neighbors dogs and other critters. Not sure how long ago this was but they found like a 100 bait stations with Temik laced wieners. Killed dogs, coons, etc. Story was he was going to release ducks and was trying to get rid of the predators. Think the fine was something like $5000 but sounds like he got off light. Heard he was a farmer in Sunflower Co.

day break wrote:my neighbor just bought over 3,000 mallard ducks from close to the Canadian Border, 5 weeks old, and released them into the break. feeds them in a different spot everyday. ducks follow the 4-wheeler from one blind area to the next (walking). strangest thing i ever saw. supposedly they will fly from one blind to the next by duck season and draw the wild ducks with them. says u can't tell them from the wild ducks come hunting season

    I know who your neighbor is! I use to hunt between your neighbor and that river to the east of "the ducks"

That rodeo is probably going to get verrrrrrryyyyyyy interesting come hunting season.
Question? I they are herding back and forth........................how do you keep them from following you to your vehicle after your hunt?
