We had two inshore afternoon trips get rained out this week while on Santa Rosa Island so I finally took a chance and booked a Thursday morning trip with Capt. Ed Lively on the Lively one II out of Pensacola Beach Marina. I was real nervous about my 6 and 10 year old getting sick or bored on a 8 hour trip. Boy was I wrong! The weather was perfect and the snapper bite was on! My 10 year old daughter caught a 20 pound AJ as a bonus. They are both hooked now.
You know you are determined when you sit on your rod to keep from getting pulled in!
Davis's biggest snapper
Anna Morgan's AJ
Not bad for their first time out

I would recommend him to anyone and wil go back with him. I paid $150 for myself adn he gave me half price on the kids. So $300 for the three of us. That was an 8 hour trip and we were dock to dock in 9 hours so I was happy.

Get ready for expensive fishing trips and remember, it's cheaper to charter than own.

If your wanting to go out of Biloxi I would look at fighting chicken charters or subdude charters if your hell bent on staying in state, if you don't mind the extra pay for oos license go to Venice go offshore one day and fish for specks and reds the next with better limits than ms
