Any of you gentlemen fished there?

Help a brother out... headed there tomorrow morning with Jr.
our virgin trip.
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

well, that was a mistake. bow fisherman's paradise. Place was LOADED with gar and carp.
So many gar and carp that the refuge manager had gill nets out everywhere to catch the
baztards. And the nets were full of trash fish.

hundreds of acres of lily pads. basically no way to fish the place. and no sport fish.

Went there based on a article from MidSouth Hunting and Fishing News. Huge mistake.
Nothing in the article was true...
