Saltwater guide around Orange Beach....
Saltwater guide around Orange Beach....
Me, my wife and 2 sons (ages 14 and 12) are planning a trip down to Orange Beach in late Sept./early Oct. What guide service do y'all recommend and what can we expect to be biting then??
Also, we want it to just be us on the boat with the worker/workers. What can we expect as far as cost for say an 8 hour trip??
Thanks for any responses.
P.S.-not really wanting to do any shallow water fishing. We would like to go out a little ways........

Liquid Trail is the name of the service Jarett is the guide http://www.liquid-trails.com/ 251-269-8924 It's awsome and not bad of a price at all!!! He is a A class guy!!!!
Here is the pictures from our trip a few weeks ago. Two of these guys had never shot a bow untile this night. We did pretty good.

Use Joey Abroscato out of Dauphin Island, meet him at Fort Morgan Marina, then visit Fort Morgan. If me, I'd pick early October. No crowds, best coastal weather of the year.

For inshore, Capt. Wes Rozier Highly recomended

Not sure if I would take a 4 year old on a deep sea charter. Mine was 10 on his first trip and that worked pretty well. Also, would have to think about the $1500 + for Snapper since the limits are so small these days.

Re: Saltwater guide around Orange Beach....
Most charters will do have price for kids under 10. I took my 10 yo daughter and 6 year old son for $300 total this year out of Pensecola. it was a large baot, 55 foot, that fished 20 people. but it was nice being on a big boat, not as rough and had a nice AC'd cabin. If you are taking kids, I'd suggest somethign like this. A boat can get small quick when the actin gets good and kids can get ran over on a small boat.

We are going down to fort Morgan the first weeks of June. I'm also trying to find a charter or something for me, my brother in law and father in law.
Also what's in season then?
