612 kayaks signed up so far to fish ride the bull this weekend in Grand Isle. We're heading down Thursday night, anyone else going ?

If you have a kayak you need to fish this event next year. 735 kayaks paddled out Saturday morning. The prize money was insane. Overall a great time

What were the categories? What were some of the winners?

Nevermind, I get it. Bull reds.
A woman caught a 26lb red, while fishing on a paddle board. Strong!

Yeah it was largest bull red caught. 735 entries, 20$ from each entry went to prize pool.
1st paid 25% and new kayak 400$ cabelas card.

I took second which paid 18%, new ride 135 kayak, and a 200$ cabelas gift card.

Unusually low weights this year, I caught a 32 while prefishing Friday, never figured 25.66 would've put me in the money. Usually it takes 30 to crack top 10

Congratulations on 2nd place! That's awesome when your fishing with 735 others.

I caught a 32" red out of my bay boat last weekend. It was the biggest I have caught yet and a pretty good fight on light/medium tackle. I imagine bringing one in on a kayak is a challenge.

Looks worse than behind the spillway in the winter when the water is up and the crappie are biting,

2nd place is pretty impressive, especially after watching this. Congrats!

I was shagging ass the the far NW boundary, first one up there anchored with line in water. Caught my fish at 730am and just hung out the rest of the day
