Riser questions

I am trying to get a flashboard riser installed on a small brake that I own. I have a friend who runs equipment that can install but he came out and shot the grade and said that from the beaver dam/ levee where I am wanting it installed to the ditch that comes out of it there is a 5" rise in elevation and he does not think it can be done. I am beginning to think it will be easier to have someone who specializes in this type of work come out and evaluate it for me. Any thought or suggestions on what I should do or who I could contact?

Thanks

Can you not put the riser in the beaver damn/levee?

Oh ok. Just thinking out loud.. I would think the beaver dams up water from moving down stream

Beavers didn't put a dam there for no reason... water will find its way to place of least resistance and drain ... that's why the dam was put up most likely
