I harvested some about 3 weeks ago. Contact Specialty Seed for price. They are cleaning and bagging it for sale. According to my sources, if you have WRP, native seeds like barnyardgrass are allowed to be planted in your waterfowl impoundments
Plant it one time and with proper management (disking once every 2-3 years) you should have a consistent stand of wild millet that can produce up to 2,000 pounds of seed per acre.
Eye-level shot.

Re: Barnyardgrass for sale
Planted some this year. Excellent results. We will see how it holds up year to year. Hopefully with a little 2,4-d from time to time we can make it last.

I spray 2,4-D on mine. Disking is the key. Every 3 years at least. Fall disking is great but turns under a lot of potential duck food. Spring disking followed by a flood (if you dont get timely rains) to wet the soil works well.
