Browntop Laid Down

Went to check my browntop the other day which was about waist high and we had a bad storm come through and it laid a lot of it down..anybody ever had this happen? Will it stand back up?

Heard that happens often after a big storm. I dont think it will stand back up. I had some jap do it one year and it never stood back up. Think mine was too thick (or at least that's what I was told) and we had put couple inches of water on it to control weed problem. Good luck, it should still provide food if it was headed out

Browntop is notorious for lodging. It's still alive and will keep growing. Will probably stand back up if it hasn't headed yet, but most of the time the heavy head is what makes it prone to lodging, or tall, thick stand or heavy nitrogen fertilizer. Kinda like rice.
