Who hunted the Opener?

Postby Hole Hunter » Wed Mar 15, 2017 9:39 am

Much to my surprise, I had 4 different birds gobbling this morning. 29 degrees

I flicked the safety off on one of the lesser birds at about 70yds. He was probably sent in as a scout for The Boss.

Even with the cold, it was a fun morning in the Turkey woods. Best of luck to you and yours!!

I heard 5 or 6 myself. Set up on the closest one and had two d@mn coyotes come and try to attack my decoy right before flydown time. Came in quiet and left quickly.... All birds got tight lipped once they flew down though.

I didn't expect to hear a thing and heard three. Closed the deal with the closest one. It was 25 degrees, but I forgot all about that when he sounded off. Thankful the season is upon us finally.
