A New Combinations

Postby Jake St. John » Thu Jul 25, 2013 2:54 pm

Here is a new combination for me in Bloodwood over African Ribbon Mahogany. A big shout out and THANKS to Jeff Estridge in Jackson for the wood. This Gator Gobbling Stribling (Which is similar to the Tom Turpin shortbox) is a little longer in box length and paddle length. Same paddle radius and size of the cavity. Throws a little different sound than the short box. This one came out with a sound very similar to the Walnut/Mahogany boxes but a hair higher pitch. Great Chatoyancy in the Bloodwood and Ribbon Mahogany. Thanks for the look.
