Dad called me about the time i got outta church, he was rained out of his golf game. So we dedieded to go to the lake and fish. we caught about 30 bass between 2:00 and 4:00

We decided to load the boat up and head over to farm to a 3 acre field where we set a double bull blind. we knew by the trail cams that long beards frequented this field in the evenings.


we got settled in at 4:45 with the super strutter jake in the field.

about 6:10 dad says, " lets go clean those fish and watch the masters" and the a hen steps out 10 yds.

few more hens come in the filed and it wasn't long before the longbeards made it to the strutting decoy and were sizing him up.

sorry the video is not great quality, i need to invest in a good camera.

It would have been an easy double, but im already done for the year.

fun way to end the season.

Gotta love it....good to know the old man can still shoot straight.... :lol: ....and tell him they make something for all that gray....
