Saturday Morning


This morning


I've killed two in four days, both by 7am. The season sure started slow, but they are hot now!!

They both were more than likely 2yr olds. First bird had a 9 3/4 and second had 10 1/4. Called the first one out of a hardwood bottom after fly down and the second out of a pasture. Unfortunately the boss gobbler that I have been after for two years stayed on top of the hill strutting with the hens.

I actually missed another decent bird this afternoon. :evil: A called a gobbler and two jakes onto a plot using a full strut and hen decoy. He was starting to get antsy given the lack of movement and I suppose I rushed my shot at about 50yds. :? He got his masters degree...
