shortest hunt of my life. walked out the door of the house and was back with my bird within 15 minutes. been watching anywhere from 20-50 hens and jakes for over a month. just kept telling myself be patient. well patience paid off today.

Team Lucky #13 is finally on the board. I didn't realized you couldn't see the tape very well in the first pic til yesterday evening and I couldn't hold the curve in the tip of the beard straight and see the numbers on the tape at the same time and get a pic. The measurements are right. It ain't gonna win anyway, so I don't care if yall believe the numbers or not :D

Finally got on the board, not going to win the contest but it got the monkey off my back! Great quick hunt. He was dead at 6:24. He gobbled good on the limb a few times on the ground and strutted and drummed straight to the gun barrel. TSS is a bad deal @ 25 yards.

Got the second one this morning. 10" beard and 1" spurs. I'll post the pics tonight.
