Been a while since I've shot much but I figured a trip to the San Juan mountains was reason enough to clean the lenses up. A large group of us trailered 4-wheelers and side by sides out there and rode the old silver mining roads through the mountains for a week. Timing was perfect. The aspens were at their peak and we got a little snow mid week. Couldn't be any country any more beautiful anywhere. The pictures just dang near take themselves!

We stayed in a hotel and trailered to the trail heads each day. We have camped in the past but it is just too much. Just a day ride takes about all the food and gear you can carry.

Wow - nice pics. That trip is now on my bucket list.
Son, be sure to check the oil. The gas will take care of itself. George Carter - Circa 1965
