Yep - been intending on posting a +1 on the mater pie. Mine turned out well.

You know how some dishes just that great as a "leftover".....some things are actually better "leftover"? Anyway, this dish is just fine leftover.....especially using Ritz crackers as a scoop. I might even try adding crumbled ritz crackers to the top of my next pie.

^ mine either...i'll be having some fried green maters (w/lil bit of bearden's breading i have left) before i make a pie, though....can't seem to wait on the first fruit to ripen!

Had one about a week or so ago and it was fine! Unfortunately, my tomatoes didn't do as well as last year.
