Well, guys I could care less when they're used. Bow season would be o.k. the deal is a crossbow doesn't have any more range than a compound. With that short "power stroke" and little bolt, they aren't any more effective. However, the one thing that bothers me is the yahoo's that treat 'em like they are rifles, sight 'em in one time and let the bolts fly, but you can't legislate against idiots.
