what do you recommend?

I picked one up from Cwink a while back and need to get it out on the range this weekend.

110gr Nosler Varmegeddon is what I shoot for pigs and its been great, I am planning on shooting them this season for deer too.

I shoot 208gr Amax loaded by SilencerCo for subs.

110Gr Barnes TSX are good too

The 110 Gr V-Max Hornady load will leave a blood trail like a red carpet!

The 125 gr SST works well, that said, I worked up a load with the 155 gr Hornady A-Max that far out performs the 125 SST, farther than you need to be shooting it at deer.

I bought some of these bullets to load the other day, with plans to deer hunt they are designed to expand down to 1500-1400 fps. If you don't handload, you can always buy this guy's ammo, loaded with these same bullets. Check out the video at the bottom.

Been doing lots of research on hunting with subsonics.

200 grain subsonics suppressed from my rifle are whisper quiet.

I have been trying to get my hands on some of the Lehigh defense subsonic ammo with no luck.

a gun guy around here loaded up some subsonics with the 200 grain Maker controlled expansion copper bullets and gave me some - he is supposed to have some for sale soon.

I shot an 80lb doe with it, and it performed perfect.

80 yd shot - right in the arm pit and the deer didn't make it 10 feet. bullet fully expanded and was lodged under the skin on the off side shoulder. The chest cavity was full of blood - major damage.

in the process now of building an AR-15 - SBR suppressed for my dedicated subsonic hunting gun.
