Do bucks regroup after the rut? Or what's goin on. I seen 3 running together and a few does. I know does regroup after the rut but have never seen bucks doin the same.

Yes they will re-group after the rut, but even in the NW part of the state (where rutting occurs earliest in MS) it would seem early for bucks to already be back together. For my area which is Delta portion of Tallahatchie County it is late January or even after season before we see bucks back together regularly.

Weather has zero effect on the rut.... Not sure why they are grouping up early like you say tho... now ive seen some in the same area at the same time but not necessarily together here lately

I watched 3 in a group this morning. I think the reason they were together was that they all had the same idea. They wanted to do dirty things to the doe that was leading them on the foreplay chase.

I'm glad someone is seeing them because I couldn't pay to see one! I've seen sign but no deer! Moving at night I reckon or during the week when I work haha.

Does are bred on nearly the same day from year to year, of course it can shift a few days either way. This is mostly dependent on nutritional conditions. Weather has little to no affect on it.
