Ever see a rub like this

I can't recall ever seeing one this big. I put a camera on it...........we shall see what's making it.

I've seen something like that before, but it was from a black bear not a deer..... :shock:

No bears have ever been sighted on this property. A few hogs.....but a long way from there. Those are all deer tracks in the mud below it. It's sitting on a major deer trail.

Looks almost like something is on the tree that the deer are trying to eat off

If it's where I think, there've been lots of bears very close for several years. I've seen a rub close to that size on a magnolia but not quite so big.

While I have never seen a rub that size, I think there are markings too high up to be a hog. I guess it could hogzilla or something. Most of the hog markings I have seen are from rubbing their body up against it. Don't forget to post pics

Just looking I think the deer or pigs are eating at the tree. Was there some type of bait poured on it at some point by a club member possibly?
