Youth hunt this weekend

Postby peewee » Tue Nov 05, 2013 3:09 am

Who's taking a youth this weekend. I'll be in the stand with my daughter. Can't wait for memories. We bond together while hunting better than any other situations.

Me and my 8 yr old will probably be at it. He has never really wanted to go much but he has been ready this year.

Opening weekend of the youth season is a great way to thin down on the number of does that should be taken in a managed club, introduce youth to the outdoors, make new friends with your son or daughters friends parents from school, and spend quality time with the family....... I know a man that use to do that on his private land. He would invite several guys that were his sons age, and their parents, and they would have a doe hunt youth weekend.....

Yes me and my son will be hunting... He is 14.. We have not missed a youth hunt since he was 6.. Thats when he killed his first... Now he thinks its not cool to hunt with daddy much now.... I love sitting in the stand with him even if he is asleep.... Hope everyone is safe and has a great weekend!!!!

Taking my 5 year old and her friend from church who is 8 and her dad. They are not hunters but the girl has been asking for 2 months if I would take her. Everyone is quite excited with me probably being the most. We may not see a thing but will have lots of snacks and probably some serious Go Fish games.

Took my daughter for the first time last year, she missed twice but is ready to get back at them. Can't make it this weekend but we will be going next weekend. Being that she is 12 and actually wants to do anything with me much less go hunting makes me excited.
