Nobody is taking away anyones bow season, there is nothing that says when gun season starts you can't continue to use your bow. You can bow hunt all year long if you want. I personally don't bow hunt so i don't care either way, I use this time for squirell hunting, but really who cares if someone can use a bow or a crossbow. It sounds like you don't have a problem so much with the equipment (Crossbow) being legal now, but rather there will be more people hunting and you won't have the woods to yourself. Again, i don't bow hunt and don't care either way. Just don't understand the reasoning behind the upset cause the crossbow is legal now as primitive weapon

In all honesty, my hatred toward them is merely selfish. It puts bunch (not all) of people in the woods that are too lazy and too incapable of shooting a compound bow. I have seen it in my little club already. We well have twice the hunters on our small club now that these people can buy a crossbow, shoot it twice and think it is the same as a rifle.

I agree with the fact that there is not a lot of difference between the two and "primitive" is now only a word in the grand scheme

Not sure what kind of shotty crossbow you bought or have shot that you need a dear within 40 yards, but i saw a man shoot one last week 75yrds and group as tight as the bottom of a coke can

Keep in mind that, if I am not mistaken, 99 Beers sells cross bows. Might help with his reasoning, logic, and motives...
