Drake Breathable Waders

Postby marionfd708 » Tue Jan 03, 2017 9:13 am

Hey guys, Trying to get anyone's opinion about these waders. I am in need for some new and was wondering if they were worth the money or not?

Thanks Kev.

Not sure about Drake but I haven't bought a pair of neoprene waders in a while. Breathable only way to go

Field Supply and Wing Supply had 2015 Macks PW breathable chest waders on sale a few months back. I ordered a pair, along with hip waders. Cost was $109 for chest waders, and $99, I think, for the hip waders.

I just checked on Field Supply and they are showing to be $119.98. MSRP $299.99. There will not be a brand name listed, just "Buck Brush Breathable 1000g Waders". These are last years Macks PW waders.

I got the banded insulated breathables this year. By far the most comfy waders ever. I'd buy the uninsulated ones. Feels like wearing the old down long underwear bottoms..

Everyone in my group has the breathable waders now. Most have the banded. Me and a couple others have the lacrosse ones. Everyone has been happy with them so far. My son tried the drake ones on but decided on the lacrosse instead.

I got a pair for Christmas. I really like them, however I think the boot runs a little big.
