Got reports of mallards in the area monday morning.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

Specks are as thick as ever. Several thousand behind camp, and another couple 1000 sitting on our fields to the west. Pintail, teal and spoon numbers are increasing as well. It's getting close

Been hearing specks and snows flying over all day while sitting in the tree stand.

Specks are coming... Ducks won't be in any hurry with temps in mid 50-60's In the Dakotas and Saskatoon

it's insane the number of birds still in canada provinces.. with some weather it could be a banner year.

I'm currently in North Dakota, about 35-45 minutes south of the border. High was 72 today.

I'm going up there for the first time on Nov 20th. It will be blue cold by then guaranteed! My southern booty will freeze off. Maybe I'll catch the Grand Passage!
