Cohen screwed the pooch....

I'm a 1970 MSU alumnus, and I'm appalled at the dismal performances of both the coaches and players at MSU.....I didn't think Joe Moorhead was a good hire for the MSU football program, but was willing to give him a chance.

I've had confidence in Cohen's hires ever since he took the AD job, but I'm having serious second thoughts about Moorhead. There's no doubt that he's a good person, but he's just not a good fit for our football program.

It appears that Moorhead has no outward expression of passion for the game, and certainly does not instill any passion for the game in our players.

MS State has some talented players, this year, and certainly deserves better leadership.

there was a very croomesque quality to the offense, last night, and with only 2 penalties...ie: kentucky loss wasn’t due to the ridiculous number of penalties.
something has got to change quickly, or moorhead loses the fan base lock, stock, and barrel. lots of discussion that mullen had losing seasons, early, but he was rebuilding a program...moorhead walked in to a fairly stacked roster, by state’s standards.

I fully expected a Gators loss. Mullen walked into a talented but woefully under-coached team. McElwain was the worst thing to ever come through UF.

Moorhead took over an 8-4 team (should have been 10-2) that had 18 returning players, a 1100+ yard running back from last year and a stud sophomore running back. Combined they touched the ball 3 times in the second half. The first half A-TRAIN had 3 touches for 30 yards and Moorhead never gives it back to him in a tight SEC game. That isn't on the players. Sure as hell aint on the Defense. That is PISS POOR COACHING. He is to blame for the first two losses. He wants to install the vertical game w/o position players that can execute those players consistently.

As a HS left tackle, that left tackle sucks. We are a running team, been that way a hot minute. Moorhead may want to run his brilliant offensive scheme, but this isn't the team to do it with. Hill, Williams, and Fitz, need to run the ball. We cant throw, its proven. Fitz looks like he is all but given up. The defense is the only reason we were close in that game to a not so great Florida team. JoMo is in over his head. I heard a quote, "If you're stoic and you win, you look like Bill Bellecheck. If you are stoic and you lose, you look like Sylvester Croom".

4 sale, 6 Auburn MSU tickets. Great seats on the end of the row next to the section 5-6 exit. Beat the traffic on the way out of the stadium.

I’m predicting another 3-2 game Saturday!
MSU will flat out man handle our OL....
One would think that a man making 7M a year could put a better product in the field!

Your 3-2 prediction may come true. MSU OC stated yesterday there will be no major changes to the offense. SMH

I needed a good reminder why not to bet on sports. I would’ve thought taking Auburn and the 3.5 points last week would’ve been as easy as finding money on the street.
