Scott Strickland to Florida

Who does MSU get now? I hate to see this as he was an integral part of turning the school around. I just hope the new AD is a Nike guy versus an Adidas guy.

I can't believe they'd settle for Cohen. How is he even qualified? Personally I don't even think he's a great baseball coach.

I think he's a winner. I also think he's pretty anti old guard, if you will, which is good for MSU. He's an MSU guy but doesn't fit the traditional mold, ala Templeton, Polk, etc. He possesses a sense of intensity and urgency that has traditionally been painfully absent within MSU administration. If he can lock down fundraising, then I think he'll be a ringing success. I'm a little uneasy about it, but I'm willing to support the decision.

By all accounts Cohen is an extremely intelligent man. I think he has also proven that he is willing to think ousted the box. Will be interesting to see how he does as I think Strickland did a great job.
