Unofficially lost both starting cornerbacks for the season due to practice injuries. :evil:

Losing one is bad enough, but two is even worse with the lack of depth behind them.

Cleveland with ACL and Jiles with broken arm.

That leave's Jamal "burnt like a 2 dollar waffle house steak" Graham and Lashon Durr.

No offense, but State was pretty screwed before fall practice started. The SECw is going to be crazy this year. That said, losing your two starting corners for the year is a massive blow to any team, let alone a team lacking depth at the position.

They've been pretty high on the Smitherman kid that's a freshman corner from what I understand. He's never seen a snap but what better way to gain experience than trial by fire haha. Young bucks will have to step up. Lets hope our D-Line can take SOME pressure off our secondary.
