Re: Shea Patterson commits to Rebs
Look at it another way.......if all you have to do is offer his brother a job and SP goes to your school (which seems to be the case).......why aren't the big boys offering big brother a job? Probably because SP is actually only 5-11" and why would they waste a GA spot in exchange for a QB that can't see over the line. My guess is the big boys "passed"

Ahh Johnny football...remember all 6' of him towering above the O-line? Yea forget it, horrible college QB. Russell Wilson?? All 5'-11" of him? Yea too short to win a super bowl! We bought him, hired his bro, white women, blah blah blah.... Used to all that, but to say nobody else wanted this kid cause he's too short is rather humerous.. As usual !

Nobody has answered my question...when can we expect Shea for Heisman stickers?

Re: Shea Patterson commits to Rebs
You have to put it out there in the media, sensationalize it, make it what it is not in real life. It doesn’t happen on its own, it has to be publicized. Like if they(being Ole Miss fans) talk about it enough, it will become a reality. Case in point, the stickers, and the ever original "Right Field tradition" after their first decent run on the diamond in lord knows how long. Many claimed it was steeped in “tradition” and home to one of the rowdiest crowds in college baseball. Really? 1 or 2 years makes a tradition, and a rowdy outfield, yep, rowdiest in the SEC, they own that too. It’s like someone hires a publicist to make things better and better than they really are. Oh, and that class thing they all tout: Here it is “"@#$%#"”.

Thanks for the link to the story...that is pretty awesome. Tradition has to start somewhere, sometime...better now than never for the Rebel Black Diamond Bears....

Re: Shea Patterson commits to Rebs
I don't see any butthurt at all, just a lot of very bold claims that people will be held to. I mean you got folks on here claiming the dude will be a heisman candidate and he's not even on the roster yet and he's still got a year of hs to play.

Re: Shea Patterson commits to Rebs
Interesting article regarding employment for Patterson. Seems to be a pattern with him.
I noticed it was in the Clarion Ledger and not the Daily Journal. Hmm? Kinda hard to put
a positive spin on that one for sure. Typical Rebel Cheer Squad! Keep it "Classy".
