Re: Shea Patterson commits to Rebs
yeah...Ole Miss baseball has only been a big deal on campus for 1 or 2 years. Great point you've made.
I don't have a damn clue whether Shea Patterson will be heisman or bust...HOWEVER, if any top program had the unanimous #1 QB in the country committed as a January signee people would have Heisman type aspirations, and Shea Patterson could have committed to ANY of those programs...Patterson is receiving a beating from rival fans for whatever reason...fandom, fear, humor, whatever...it's stupid, any SEC school that commits or signs a concensus top player at his positions with offers from EVERYBODY else is doing something right...debunking that b/c of what you heard from someone who is paid by your clicks, or because he might be 1 or 2 inches shorter than a recruiting service listed him...that is butthurt to a fine definition!

I love how State fans are acting like they wouldn't be thrilled to have Patterson. Like if he even wanted to go to the dump that is Starkville (and I can say that.... I lived in Starkville for 5 years) that they wouldn't have taken him.
Get over yourself boys! You had a decent quarterback signed a year or two ago, but he skipped The Pony for the MLB!

Michigan could be dangerous with him playing QB. Ta’mu looked really good this year so not all is lost for the rebs.

Yep, Harbaugh flew in Tuesday and talked to as many as seven players. So far, Patterson and Deontay Anderson seem most likely to bail. If Patterson is leaving, I'm pretty happy to have him somewhere none of our teams will likely have to face - the kids pretty good. But, don't see much falloff with Jordan T.

Greg Little will be the one that really hurts if he leaves. I assume Speaks is headed to the draft.
