What's everyone's thoughts on what Nicko Whitley did last night? I'm a huge State fan, but I think Mullen should dismiss him from the team because of his actions. I played college ball and we were never taught to do what he did in the pile. He is a disgrace to the Bulldog Nation and should be delt with.

Jim - I am an Ole Miss fan and don't agree with what he done. But I don't think he should be kicked off the team. His stupidity cost State 3 points but he has to learn. I would have sent a manager with him and when he got undressed I would have had him running until the game was over and he would run the whole practice today. Then if something like that happened again maybe dismiss him.

i hate seeing people do what he did. i don't care what team you play for, that can be left out of sports. i watched vickerson do that shame $#!+ in the bronco's and colts game sunday night. IT's just sorry. hate it for the school, and coaches, such a negative light on your team with such selfish actions.

He got a Personal Foul called against him on play where he and the receiver or TE were tied up and he ended it with a palm to the facemask. Stupid act that's always gonna draw the flag.

Very next play I believe 3rd and short, he runs into the scrum and throws a few quick jabs while laying in the pile. You couldn't see anything from the sideline view, but the replay from the endzone showed it all. And of course the umpire is standing right behind him as it happens.

Those two penalties set up KY for a field goal and we were lucky it wasn't 7pts. These were just back to back dumb plays. Had it been me I'd feel pretty damn embarrassed making the long walk to the locker-room.

If I am not confusing him with someone else, I believe he was a known thug coming out of Callaway or Provine...is that true?

What bothered me most was the pat on the back by Mullen as Whitley was walking off the field. He didn't reprimand him as I would have, but I ain't no ball coach and never will be.
