Ole Miss, Home of Three National Championships**
**Claimed National titles were never rated higher than #2 by the AP and were before the addition of the black athlete by virtually every team on the Ole Miss schedule.

Why should we not claim them? That's the way it worked back in the day, 300 different poles. I don't agree with the presentation on twitter but that's no different than hanging banners in a stadium. I may have missed it (long list) but I got my laugh later in the day on this one when I didn't see MSU's name anywhere on list, no matter which poll it was!

Re: Your daily laugh for the day ........
Here's why you cannot legitimately claim any of the three years.
Back in those days, the ONLY two polls that had any credibility and were used to determine the national champion were the AP and UPI polls. It's just like college baseball today with 15 some odd polls. It would be like you claiming a national championship in baseball just because some poll said you were #1, even though you didn't win the CWS.

Re: Your daily laugh for the day ........
That goes for all of them. If the AP or UPI didn't pick you #1, you cannot claim a national title just because.
Re: Your daily laugh for the day ........
How can there be 350 national champions in approx 100 years?

I have been trying for weeks to to think of who Hugh Freeze reminds me of.......it hit me last night. Hugh Freeze and Joe Biden are brothers, that were seperated at birth.

The funny part to me is that the photo shows 3 BCS Championship trophies.
